Well I am not quite sure what is going on and how to word this thread. I have had some of my males and females refusing the F/T mice I have been offering for some time now. I have some males and females eating the F/T mice out of the same bag the others won't eat. This is strange to me and frustrating. So I took some live mice out of the rack and offered them. I didn't kill them that way I could put them back if they didn't get eaten. Well of course what I thought would happen happened. Every single one that wasn't eating F/T ate the live mice. Keep in mind that all of this has been happening over the past month. Some of the males were eating and some haven't ate since March. Some of the females laid eggs and some haven't yet, but are due in the next couple of weeks.
I am not sure what is going on with them and their eating preferences. I know the mice aren't freezer burnt or nothing like that. I even offer smaller than normal F/T mice and leave them for hours and still nothing.
Can anyone help me or even experienced this?
