Is this a corn????????

early eggs?!?!?! hmmmm very very interesting...lol

early eggs would probably send me back in the direction thinking emory. they have a slightly shorter incubation because their winters tend to come a little earlier. i'm slowly creeping off of the fencepost here....

what kind

First pic you posted looks like a rat snake to me, if it was around here I'd say a juvi gray or black rat. My rat has a stripe across the eye like that as well.

Definitly Elaphe though. Second pic head pattern looks like a corn though! But corns are rat snakes...

Good luck with the eggs!

Why I am still voting 'emory'......

I was offline for a few weeks (fried motherboard) and wasn't able to keep up with this thread. After careful review (LOL) of the thread I am still going with 'emory.'
Reason is 6-7 eggs; emory lay smaller clutches with larger eggs. Also, the head pattern. Emory's tend to have a head pattern that stretches towards the neck, and the head pattern is usually 'split' down the middle at the neck like yours. Just some thoughts.;)
joe clark
PS: As well, the belly appears to have ALOT of SMALLER checker type markings, reminiscent of emory's.

It has been 32 days and so far so good. They appear to be doing fine still off white and no smell!By the way after researching her background I believe her to be an Emory rat (pure). The father of the eggs was a Miami phase and I can not wait to see the results!!!I will post pics if they hatch and we will see what a
non(?)creamsicle Emoryi x corn looks like. You are the best Joe!!

Here is a pic of the eggs,53 days @ 82 degrees some are really starting to show windows, notice how small the one on top of them is, compared to all the others.

Went in to check the eggs before bed and opened the lid to find two awesome looking babies staring up at me.Both of which immediately began to strike at me! Both look more like their Emoryi mom than their Miami dad will get pics in a few days. Most of the others have all pipped but have not yet came out.The biggest egg with the window is not yet pipped. Here is a really bad pic to tide everyone over till I can get better pics.So do these classify as Kistachie corns or ?

These are my first babies hatched I am so Excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D

hehe with as much mix breeding that goes on in this herp selling game i wouldnt be surprised if it was a lil of both. When it has the babys look at them they will probably be the truth tellers. But who knows..

abell,
I've been following this thread with interest, as I have outcrossed my banded creamsicle with my normal female. I had alot of variation in my clutch, but several look like your neonates. Here is one of my offspring for comparison.
