hello guys!first of all sorry for my bad english :p my new corn is about to shed and i want to know if my tank is ready :) in fact i want to know if my whole setup is good ^^ the temperature is around 30° in the hot spot (basking spot+heating mat) and around the 21° in the cold side.the humidity is around 50 when the heat lamp is off and drops to 10 when the lamp is on (i put it on 3-4 hours/day up to 3 days after feeding). when the lamp is on the temp is around the 34° and when the lamp is off it is around 28°. well for the rest look at the pics :)))
To make a humid place i put the water bowl into a bigger bowl filled with wet paper towel that i keep humid. is this a good idea? Or should i just provide the snake a humid hide? thanks for help!
here are the pics:

oh yes my snake is a baby, 45cm long (18 inches)

Everything looks wonderful :) it is so much better to have everything set-up before you get your snake then to deal with the hassle afterwards! And you english was superb!

Heh. I like how you did the screen top. As for the humidity and whatnot, rather creative with the water bowl in a larger bowl like that. You could probably get some sphagnum moss instead of paper towel though. Humidity shouldn't be too much worry until you know whether or not it's a problem. In other words, pay attention to the first couple sheds. If they are in one piece then there's no problem. Humidity isn't so much an issue until they start breaking and flaking their shed all over. Even then though, regular soaking pre-shed is usually enough. But sphagnum moss is always a fun safe option. Even when it dries up a lot of snakes really love the stuff.

My corn just shed in 1 piece with caps :))) thanks a lot for advice, i will try to find that sphagnum moss because it has to be better than wet towel paper :)
