my 17 inch "albino" has black coloration at the corners of his mouth. i might not have noticed it before so this coloring might have always been there, but i was wondering if it might be a fungus or something like that. he seems fine and healthy, he eats well and he acts perfectly normal on my hand right now. does anyone know what is going on???

Take a pic of it.. to do have a friend hold him where ever it is and take a pic. or ask the deler where u got the snake.

if you could post me a pic that would be great. it may just be the colouration of the snakes mouth, my 2 yr old has fantastic jet black tiger stripes running down each sides of her head. but seeing a pic im sure someone can tell you straight off if its something else or just his colour okay.
it may be an infection or the start of mouth rot, quite serious in which case. but dont worry about it, just post us a pic and we'll help you out.
:)

so he just shed, and the black part on either side of his mouth came off with the shed. i couldnt get a picture that would show off what i am talking about. i am still concerned though because there seems to be a scale on the front of his mouth that is black as well, but its like peeling up as if it was part of the shed. i hope this is just a natural part of his shedding pattern, but if it sounds like anything more serious let me know. has anyone else ever heard of something like this??
