 It seems like time is flying by.When I first got my snake it seemed like time was moving much slower in between feedings and sheds.
Now,almost 6 months later,it seems like I'm going through mice every other week,,and sheds are every 2 weeks :shrugs:
I know this isn't really the case, but it sure seems like it.My snake was due to eat last night,,so i had the customary hunt around the tank to find where she was hiding.Man,,she's in blue again,,and I'd swear she felt heavier than the week before. :grin01:
I can just imagine how big she'll be come mid-summer :eek1:

*sniffle* they grow up so fast :crying:. But really I know what you mean, my little guy seems to be getting more colorful every time I see him. Not to mention how quickly he seems to be digesting fuzzys these days, I'm already thinking about checking out hopper sizes! It wont be long before I will be able to post some progression pictures and really see the changes.

Isabelle is SO big now. I was looking back at her hatchling pictures, before she was a month old. So little and cute, and now she's so fat, and huge. Seriously, she's going to be on rat fuzzies soon. The large rat pinks are barely leaving a lump now. She's not even a year old. I used to count down the days between feedings, and couldn't wait until it was time for her to eat again. Now, I struggle to get feedings once a week, lol. I guess my schedule is a lot more hectic, that and I have 8 OTHER snakes to feed now, lol. I still haven't gotten her into a tub, she's still in a 20gL. I was supposed to have holes in her tub two weeks ago, lol. I keep putting it off.

I am finishing up the last of large pinks, and then I will go to single fuzzies for 2-3 feedings, and then maybe double... we will see.

Seeing as how this is my first little snake... will his growth pick up once he is on fuzzies?? He got VERY long, very quick, but isn't "bulking up" much yet. Lately he seems to be adding more girth... but that could be wishful thinkin on my part.

Geez, this si how I feel when I think about aurora's favorite hiding spot when she was little. She hid in a not hole in the side of her climbing wood. The knot hole is no more than an inch and a half across and barely half an inch deep. she would curl up and hang out in there for ours. Now she's 550 grams and is probably bigger than that whole climbing wood! i'm so amazed she ever fit in theree!

As for if they grow more on fuzzies. I have no idea. I don't remember how aurora was at all, and all my other snakes have come to me as adults.

They do grow fast huh?? My first Corn Swiper has gained 13 and a half inches since I first adopted him 8 and a half months ago(he was 14 inches then so he's 27.5 now).......he's shed about 6 or 7 times TOO......GEEEEZE, and believe it or not, I think he's gettin ready to do it again.........He's getting so BIG.......I can't wait till he's fully grown though, that'll be FN FUN FUNNNN
