i bread eve on the 7th of last month and saw her hooked up 3 time so i am pretty sure she is gravid she just shed sunday and has refused her last 3 meals and has become more active to day she was stretched up the side of her viv and part way across the top upside down. also she doesn't appear to have swelled up as big as some as most of the pics of gravid females i have seen is it normal for a first time mother to have a small clutch so should i be worried and i am going to put the lay box in to day should i put it on the warm side or the cool side.
ps thanks for putting up with all my dumb questions.
 
Yes, the fact that she's stopped eating and is more active, is an indiation that she's gravid. Some of mine don't show any signs at all, but are capable of popping out 15-20 eggs.

A first-time mom can lay a small clutch of 6 eggs the first time out, but if she's older than about three, then she may lay more

Put the laying box in ASAP - that's what she's looking for. I've found it's best to put it at the cool end.

If she's shed recently (or looks like she's about to), that's another sign that she's preparing to lay.

Don't be worried - sounds like it's all going to plan.
