Is this ok for a home

You mention "there home" do you have more than one snake? And are they already full grown or still just a baby?

Yes I have to. And there both 1foot and 8-9 inchs and they keep wanting to get out and and looks like they want more room. But yes I have 2 corns and there in diffrent vivs and if I get this terrarium I will get 2 one each.

That's a three-foot tank, so yes, that seems ideal as a permanent home for an adult Corn.

Keep your eye on things like Freeads or Freecycle. You often find people getting rid of old aquariums for nothing (or next to nothing) if you can pick them up.

The main problem with doing that, is finding escape-proof lids that fit properly. You'll probably have to spend a chunk of money on those.

I think I will coz there nice and look good and nice and big will they be ok for my guys now as there both 1foot and 8-9 inchs or what's the best size to put them.

You could also look in the DIY section here and see if it is possible for you to build your own.

I could buld my own but to be honist I can't be botherd lol it's all bult and ready to use so I will get two of there's glass ones

I honestly don't think so. Try to find one that has more surface area; that looks like it's for fish or a climbing animal, and corns are ground dwellers for the most part. A lot of people liked mine for the 3month old corn I have, so here are some pictures.

The pictures point out how she has plenty of hiding places (and she does use them all) and how they're throughout the cage and how the best two (the two logs) are each on the cool and warm side, a bend-a-branch to exercise on when I'm asleep, a water bowl to soak in (gonna clean it out when I post this), plenty of surface area, and locking lid. The last picture just demonstrates the average size of corn people get from pet stores, and as you can see, she wanted to hide. That's what most atchlings and young corns want to do. And you have to remember that it WILL get bigger. That particular plant she's hiding in may be put in her cage when she's bigger, as will some other stuff (and I'm hoping to go to the Playful Potter or some place like it to make my own hides for her).

Also, the bedding is cheap aspen.

The rule of thumb is the Length + Width of the tank should be equal to or greater than the length of the snake. The tank in the OP is ~40" by ~15", so it would be suitable for almost a 5 ft snake. More is usually better but the tank in question would be just fine.

^ That's an awesome lookin' tank, especially the lid. I don't like the set up with the leopards though since they aren't supposed to climb stuff like that (breaking bones from falling).

Oh I'm not so sure the tank is grate and ten pounds cheaper than the other one. But my mate had leopards and the tank was like this one and his guys climbed and some times just let go and fall, although he had soft substrate and moss but there still doing to this day quite funny really. I'm going to have to get two of these then there nice betta that the wooden vivs I have now. Vivs are nice for a bearded dragon like I used to have but to dark for snakes when I get them tanks it says I get 60 pounds worth of tokens to spend on that site so I can get new heat matts and hides and stuff as well. I have seen this new thing in my local pet store for my corns it's a cave but with moss in you put water in it just enought to soften the moss and it helps them shed. I don't need it it's prob a bother money makeing thing from another company but looks good soz I'm gassing on abit thismorning lol but I can't wate Till I get my tanks I should have them in 3-4 weeks

Oh and I don't remembwho said it but they said corns and ground dwelers not true my guys clime as high as they can some times and sleep or investagate my guys like both.and how can there be more room up top than bottom it's the same size. And the Zilla Critter Cages are nice but not my thing. The main reason I'm getting the big tanks now is coz I have the money I was going to go to the isle of Wight festival but with macca on Sunday IRS not a grate line up. So I thought I'd spend it on my sexy corns lol

Some Corns are very keen and proficient climbers. I have a couple of three foot long x three foot tall vivs with different levels, and most Corns I've put in there like to take advantage of upper levels and climbing eqipment.

They're not arboreal, but giving them the chance to climb is a great idea. Its good exercise and a good way of keeping up the muscle tone.

Of course you do also get the odd herbert that just likes to stick at floor level, even given the most luxurious jungle gym!

It looks like it'd work, but there's more height than flooring.
The floor dimensions of approx 40"x15" are pretty much standard for an adult Corn's requirements. The fact that it's taller than you'd expect, is irrelevant - the height doesn't have to be in proportion to the floor area, as long as the floor area is sufficient (which it is in that example). Extra height just gives the opportunity for climbing branches etc., which is fine.

Pepper, is the criter tanks uk or us and how much are they I onle have the net on my phone and I can load the pic but it don't like the site lol so uk or us and how much and on the pic I see there's a gap at the back at the top will the corn get out??? And bitsy thanks I thought that was right coz I have some bits of wooden pipe that will go at the top of the tank so they can climb and stuff should be good.
