Is this true?

One of the biggest cautions I can give you is to keep the Kingsnake completely away from the Ball Python. Colubrids (Kings, Milks, Corns, etc) and Boas can carry diseases that will kill a Ball Python fairly quick!

And if you offer a mouse/rat to your Kingsnake and it’s refuses it...You can not then offer it to your Ball Python

Just wondereing if this is true?:shrugs:

I am not 100% on this, but I think whoever gave you that information is taking a few general guidelines and blowing them out of proportion.

All of your snakes can have diseases which could hurt another animal in your collection. That's like saying that all black people should stay away from all white people because (statistically), african americans are much more susceptible to Lyme Disease. Citation: http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm5401a4.htm

Practice reasonable husbandry standards such as handwashing, and you'll be fine.

On the mouse issue, if your kingsnake actually puts the mouse in it's mouth, I wouldn't re-feed it. If the king goes no where near it, I don't see a problem.
