I think that's probably something I wrote. If you check back, I carefully used a phrase something like "
most Corns don't seek out human interaction".
Whilst I believe the majority of Corns will just view a human as a source of food or warmth, and an open viv door as a potential escape route or a path to food, I'm sure there are odd ones out there who have specific preferences for their owners.
I'm pretty sure none of mine would miss being handled by me if I disappeared tomorrow. On the other hand, there are certain of them that are much more wary of anyone other than me.
One thing you'll learn abut Corns - the rules are, there are no rules!
Every time you think you've found something set in stone, one of the critters will pop up and confound you in one way or another.
SO to answer your original question - both statements could be true, depending on the individual snake and the circumstances.
