My snake hasn't pooped since two feedings. I gave her a peach fuzzy on Wednesday and she didn't poop after that. I was worried but gave her another pink fuzzy on her next scheduled eating day which was Sunday. So far she hasn't pooped. Should I be worried? What can do I do? She's about 6 months old if that helps. And she just shed a little over a week ago.

Bathtime! :D Give her a bath in about 80 degree water. It should feel SLIGHTLY cool to your touch. My snake HATES baths, but he's okay so long as I don't let him go in the water. If you can keep him in the water for about a minute (or at least the back end), it should stimulate a movement. If he's comfortable though, leave him in until he poops in the water. If he doesn't, take him out and let him roam on something poop safe. Often mine will wait until a few minutes after the bath before he poops, but the water works every time.

Good luck. :)

A lot of time the poop gets buried in the substrate and you may not find it. This is especially true if you're feeding small prey items like pinkies and fuzzies. They don't generate a lot of poop.

Still no poop. I use that carpet type of substrate so I always see the poop. I'll try another bath tonight and see what happens. Tonight is also feed night Should I feed or not?

how old is your corn?

unless it is very young a peach fuzzy every 4 days seems too much.......maybe wait till 5th or 6th day. (IMHO)

thank you

I'm Sorry. I am feeding her every 5 days. I'm getting my days mixed up. I think she might be sick. She is laying around alot and has her head on the carpet in her cage. She eagerly ate the pinkie I offered her though. I would love to get her to the vet around here that treats snakes and turtles but my mom hates snakes and wont pay for a vet visit....!! IM WORRIED!

Does she LOOK constipated? Bloated? Lifeless? I'm curious why you think she might be sick... Is she drinking water?

Shes never a really active corn but shes just hanging out in her log hut and has her head just sitting on the ground out in front of her. She just doesnt seem like herself.

If she is eating eagerly....I would think thats a good sign...
There isn't much 'waste' from pinkies so maybe your just missing it.

try not to worry!!

thank you
