I can't decide which morph should be my first corn!!! There's so many different ones!!! As soon as I think I've found the one I like, I find another one that I like just as much. I've narrowed it down to :: butter, butter motley, okeetee, Abbott okeetee, creamsicle, gold dust, ultra caramel, snow....and these beautiful pink and yellow calikingxcorn...LOL...another problem is that the weather has been in the triple digits for practically the last 40 days....no shipping...Ahh I give up!!! Just kidding...but still I'm just ready to get my corn!!!


Anyways, how did u decide which morph you'd get for your first?
 
My decision came when Shiari and I went to visit Carol. She showed us some of her lovely animals, and when she pulled out her bubblegum corn male my jaw dropped! He's amazing, and so is my boy!

I really like abbots and they are not expensive so i think that would make a good choice, on the other hand you have to have seen some progression of these guys to you'll never know how they will turn out.
Butter motleys can give you a good idea of what they are gonna look like when they grow up and those are really beautiful too (and also not expensive)
 
Well my mom hates snakes and since she is into western decor, she liked the red in the amelinistic sooooooo. I was able to get one.
 
Since you have so many that you like the color morphs, I would try and find a reptile expo near you and go there. Then you can hold the snakes of the morphs you like and find one that you just love his personality.
 
Yeah I agree. That's another thing. The nearest EXPO is like 6 hours away. I wish we could but that's like 80 dollars just in gas....and I cent find any breeders close to me. :( I'm bummed.

And atmox I wish I could get them all. Haha. Just like your Sig says...our first is going to be my corn though....then hubby can get his...which more than likely will be a ball...
 
For me breeding was something I always had in mind as a macro-goal. So I choose animals based on what they (pairs usually) will produce :) or whatever catches my eye at the show that say to ;)
 
oh--that sucks..well,I've heard they have expos in Austin,San Antonio & Arlington Texas at different times if you are closer to any of those.Not sure when those shows were though
 
Yeah I'm not going to breed anything I get though. Pets only. :)

And yeah I've looked into those shows...5 hours away. Haha. I know I just have no luck...or do i???
Some karma came back to me and I just might have my first corn in less than two weeks!!!! Yay!!!!
 
Haha thank you. :) you had a huge part in that karma...I'm sometimes you just need that little nudge and you helped me decide!! I will be the proud new owner of Christens Corns beautiful snow named star. It just fit. Not only was it amazing timing but our sons name is Skyler..sky star. It's just perfect. :)
 
You don't have to sugar coat it. You can tell them that I virtually twisted your arm and said "You have to take this snake." :p I can't wait till you get to hold her. You are going to love her.
 
Haha. Nooo more like made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I'm sure it'll give u more room but either way u didn't have to propose the offer u did. I am grateful. And u know ill love her with all my heart! :) I can't wait.....so I guess I can answer my own question now.. :)
