I mentioned on another thread that I recently acquired an adult Stimson's Python, or Antaresia stimsoni by its scientific name. Wasn't really planning on this snake, but a local guy (who I've done business with before) offered him for a deal I couldn't refuse. :eek: I'm still learning about this species, but so far he's a real sweetie - very docile, curious, and supposedly a hearty/indestructible snake. Here he is:

What a pretty snake. I don't think I've ever seen or heard of one before. Can't wait to see more pics of that beauty
 
Thanks. :) I don't know much about them either, except that they're from Australia, and somewhat related to the children's & spotted pythons... he's full-grown, so they aren't very large (he weighs 800g), and supposedly easy to keep and handle. I'll take more pictures once he's settled in!
