*That is the same water dish he has had since I got him back in Sept 05.

It's surprising how quickly they grow. I was looking back over my records and was shocked. Btw, nice setup.

20 gal?

Nice amel! It is amazing how fast they can grow when they are well cared for. My first corn was an amel as well. Even though I don't need him for any future projects, I'm just too attached to get rid of him. Gotta love those amels. Anyway, I meant to inquire as to the size of your viv. I am an avid tropical fish keeper as well as a corn addict and I am pretty certain you are using a standard size 20 gal for your viv. Also sometimes refered to as a 20 high. While your set-up looks nice, you may want to consider getting a 20 "long" for him so he has more room to move about. A 20 "long" is often the recommended minimum for an adult corn. If you already knew that, then I apologize. Otherwise, I just wanted to make you aware that your snake will be needing a bigger viv soon. IMO, It would probably be even better to get a 30 gal, but hey, thats just what I would do. Anyway, nice snake and congrats on his growing into a nice healthy snake. Good luck to you!
