Jungle Corn

She's really lovebeautiful, you can see the Cali in her. As for names, dunno if you're looking for ideas, but I love Baja for a Cali, don't see why it wouldn't work for a Jungle.

Hey thanks :D I got him from a small breeder in Esterhazy ,SK. He had an albino there as well but as bekers said, he was kind of creepy looking. Thats a nice motley Kevin! I havent been able to find a whole lot of pictures of jungles. Can you breed in, say, amel traits? Or do they all come out as normal or albino? She was the most striking one there, and im glad i picked her. I cant wait untill shes had her week of solitude.... I cant wait to get her out for some solid handling time and some better photos. :D :D

Yes, I've seen jungles that were amel, anery, snow, striped, motley, etc. In fact, albinism can be allelic in cal kings and corns (albino king x amel corn giving albino offspring in the first generation). I really like the looks of her, best of luck finding a good male to pair her with.

I think what he means is what type of corn snake (ex. normal or amel) crossed with what type of King snake (since there is more then one type) produced this look?

Really, thank you for DD-Mel's elaboration, that is what i mean.
Sorry to make you confuse.

You can use pretty much any corn morph you want; unless you use Amel (which appears to be allelic or the same gene as Cali king amel) you won't get any "morph" offspring. Amel cali king to amel corn (or hets for the same) will produce Amel offspring.

Typically, the kingsnake used for "Jungles" is a California King. I've seen Mexican Black king crosses called "Forests".

In the second generation you could recover any corn or king gene you like, as long as you cross animals who have similar hets. I wonder what the second-generation offspring from a Lavender corn X Albino Striped Cali would be like.... ?
