I'm not sure how most of you clean up your snake's area after he/she has gone to the bathroom, but I have a very simple, economical method that some of you may be intereseted in.

Buy a box of "baggies" (the small sandwich bags without the zip closure) they come 200 to a box and cost a dollar. Put your hand in the baggie, grab the snake poo, slide the part of the back that's by your wrist down and...voila! Snake poo in a bag.

This may also be helpful (but don't take my word for it - I'm new to all this) in determining how your snake is digesting...especially if there are any health concerns.

Just my little tip! :)

Cheers.

I have a simular method. I use a latex glove (the strechy rubber ones which hospitlas have). I have a box of like 200 which saves a lot on money.

Thanks for the tip! I currently use an old scoop from a box of Tide but have to use a plastic grocery bag to dump it in. Maybe I'll try the baggies next!

Hey There!

By all means...try the baggie thing...they even come with twisty ties so no offensive odor in the garbage can!
