Ok so as most of you know I am planning to pick up a yearling female at the reptile expo this upcoming weekend. I picked up this tank for her today and have it all set up (Minus thermostat which I am ordering from LLL and should have soon.)

That looks really good. We had a hideyhole like the one in the right. Our snake loved it until he outgrew it.
Have fun getting your new snake!

My Hatchling has the same one. Same size and everything haha. Its a bit big for him but he still loves it.

Considering that your thermostat is not included in this picture, what is that cord? Does the rock hide heat up? If so find a new hide, or just completely cut the cord off. Rocks that heat up can reach very dangerous temps. If it is the only source of heat the snake will curl around it in an attempt to warm itself. This will burn your snake.

You need a UTH, under the tank heater. A heating pad will work just fine.
