Just got back from the reptile expo

My mom and I just got back from the reptile expo in Portland ME, which was a four hour drive! Anyways, the expo was nice. I met a few people from geckoforums who I had been dying to meet. The expo was not large by any means. They had tons of snakes for sale. As well as a few skinks and tegus. I didn't take any photos of the expo (which I regret now), due to I forgot to bring along batteries... Shame on me! Back onto top... I picked up myself a hatchling, female candy cane corn. I bought my little girl from J&J Reptiles for $35. She was the brightest out of all the candy canes, so I had to have her. J&J Reptiles had ALOT of diffirent corn morps. But I had my mind set on a candy cane, so I got one. I held a few other snakes and lizards too. This includes, baby blue tongue skink (my mom even held one, we already have a bts at home, he is a adult, she awwed' over him), tegus, beardies, leopard geckos, bull snakes, king snakes, milk snakes, balls and a few adult corns to get the feel of what a adult corn weighs ect. :) It was all great fun!

I am going to take some photos on my mom's cell tomorrow. I want you guys to see my very first corn, Alley!

Thanks for reading!

Too kewl! Congrats on the new corn! Hope to see pics soon!

Hey, I ENVY you. I have never been to a reptile show before and I'm 40! So you being able to go with your mom... to me is PRICELESS!

There is a show close by at the end of September. I'm making sure to take MY KIDS with me! LOL.

This was my first expo ever. I am glad it was small, I didn't want my first expo to be to overwellming... :)

Alley seems to like the paper towel roll the best. She is laying in PT roll on the uth. :) I love her already and have only had her for about 10 hours. :D

Aw that sounds like fun! I wish my mom would go with me to the show and not say "EW" every five minutes. (herps are so underappreciated) Can't wait to see your little baby!!! =D Congrats!

Yes, my mom likes reptiles. Snakes not so much. But she said they are fine, and I could have one. I wanted to get a BP, but mom said she is not ready for that big of a snake yet. LOL. Some day I will ahev a BP, and I can't wait!!

Pictures are coming later on tonight! =]
