Just of out blue phase

It has been three days since my snake's eyes turned back to black. I was wondering how long until the shed starts. Also, he has not left the top of the tree decoration for the past week. Is this all normal?

It's a bit unusual for them to be out in the open during a shed cycle, but not unheard of. You might want to double-check the temps in his hides just to be safe.

As far as the shed goes, it's typically about 4-5 days after the blue phase clears up that the actual shed occurs, but that does vary a bit from time to time (I've had one shed about 1 1/2 days later and another shed that took 7 days before the actual shed).

If on top of the tree decoration is out in the open (i.e. not tucked away in a hide) I would say that's unusual. They feel vulnerable when leading up to shedding, particularly when they're in blue. My girl pretty much stays hidden away until she's done shedding, and I try to leave her alone completely during that little over a week or so that it takes. Should be any time now- make sure that humidity is bumped up a bit. I think 3 or 4 days after clearing up is a pretty good average.

The top of the bush is up to the screen on top of the viv. I have black paper on the side of the tank the bush is up against. That could be considered a hide I guess.
