Kempton show

snakewispera snr

The Devils Advocate
Just to remind the Brits among us that the kempton show is 15th August.
So I'm expecting a few of you to make the effort and come and see me.
I'll be there with this years Jungles, IJ's and Bredli's. A few corns and Royal Morphs.......
Plus we are now selling Pi reptile Royal Morphs....
And Jackie and Rain have said they will bring something special to show off.....
Soul Sucker anyone..... LOL

We're hoping our son won't be working that weekend and will be able to bring us to the show, so if it all works out we'll look forward to seeing you there Mike! :D

I'll be there, but only because I haven't told my girlfriend where we're going!! She seems thinks we're going for a romantic day out in London!!

Will do :)

How big is this show anyway? Do you have a rough idea of how many tables will be up?

Can't wait :spinner:

Euan and i may well pop along as it would appear we now have a starter viv, that needs a little snake to go in it, or possibly a gecko... :)

I think accurately it should be called a Faunarium. It is an exo terra one, model 2265. You can see them here - most herp shops seem to stock them. It was great for Buster upto about 9 months, then he upgraded to a bigger house.

so ideal for a small snake again, or little lizard....

just need to get the green card from my good lady, who actually blocked Buster coming in, but now is completely fascinated by him! :)

cheers

ian

yes, no probblem, can't remember which one but it stuck to the bottom widthways, and wrapped up the sides a little way on one side.

Worked pretty well as well, he was very comfortable. Also only has kitchen roll on teh flor, not aspen when he was little.

Interesting, sounds ideal for a starter viv. Really sorry about all the questions but did you have a thermostat to regulate the heat mat? And did you put anything in the tank over the mat to stop him getting burnt, such as a slate/ceramic tile?

Will do :)

It's the biggest show ever put on in the UK...
It's going to be epic...
Quite a few big names are coming to give presentations and talks....

Funny you should say that:idea:... A friend of mine breeds Cresties... Could probably get you a deal on some......:dancer:

Oh god I wanna go so badly... I've never been to a reptile show as of yet, and this one sounds amazing. Guess I'll have to cross my fingers and hope I can sweet-talk the people at work enough to give me that sunday off. :)

Lol, offer to swap shifts or do two shifts to make up for it LOL. Sounds like it's gunna be worth it :spinner:

Ergh, trouble is I think I already owe people shifts from ones I've had to swap before at short notice. XD Oh well, can't hurt to ask, worst they can say is no, but I do really wanna go. :)

OK.... 5 days to go before show time..
And I've got my final list for the show.
I'll have.
18 Bredlis
12 IJ's
12 Hi Yellow Jungles.
20 Corns (Ghosts, amels, anerys and motleys)
5 Mojave BP
5 Lesser BP
and an adult pair of Tarahumara Mountain Kingsnakes (Lampropeltis pyromelana knoblochi)
These were a project buy that I know I haven't got time or space for ATM, so decided to give someone else the chance of producing this rarely seen snake...
