Alright-- at first glance, I didn't like these guys much, but after perusing a few sites and seeing how undeniably fat and cute they are, I have to know-- are they really as fat and adorable as they look?!

Here's the boy I used to have. Unfortunately, I wasnt very good at getting him to eat... plus I needed space at the time, so he had to go... :(

Actually, they are one of the easiest to keep IMO. They are like a cornsnake with drier poop. Give them substrate, undertank heat, water, humidity box (if shedding problems are observed), and occasionally feed them (lol)....and they do fine.

Most male KSB's should be fine in a 10 their whole life. If they get very large, go with a 15 gallon-- 24"x12" footprint.

Males about 15 inches (+/-) and females a bit over 2 feet or about 2 1/2 feet (+/-).
The (+/-) is, of course, because some individuals can vary a bit.
If you are going to use a ten gallon, for a KSB, make sure you get a male.:)
 
I'd have zero problems put almost all of mine - males AND females - in a 10 gal aquarium. go for it.

Gah you guys are near convincing me to pick one up from VMS herp. :) They have several anerys and I have my eye on a particularly light one... the worst part is, I recently ordered new plastic cages (they have more or less the same footprint as a 10gal, but are not as tall-- I keep my young corns in them for $10 a piece!) and I happen to have one extra, just sitting there with a bit of aspen in it...

I want one, and I want to name him Mister Moo. Gwahah.
 
Im adding to my maybe list for when I go to the show. Im hoping something will catch my eye and now that I know about these guys they will be something I look for.

They are absolutely as adorably cute chunky little clowns, especially when they are wee babies!

VMS is where I got my anerys. Awesome little snakes Sadly, they are no longer with me, but they were great while I had them!

very cute squishies but i won't own one....all the ones i've ever held have bit me. they are good snake to have but i steer clear.

for my squishie fix i prefer my hognose and my rosy boa.
