LOL, Catherine. No... I'm a DC Comics fan. Killer Frost was the HOTTEST villainess in comicdom when I was growing up. Since I named her that, it only followed that I should name HIM Mr. Freeze after one of Batman's enemies. :)

Actually, NEVER. If she and another one are ready, I'm gonna try my hand at it. IF, I'm successful at getting hatchlings and getting THOSE to eat, I'll try again next year with some others. If not... I guess I'll just be a proud pet owner. LOL.
 
Well good luck! I hope it works out for you! Sheldon wants to breed Scarlett when she's all grown up...we'll see how big she gets in the next two years. This may be a silly question, but... will you only get the Avalanche in your clutch or will there be other morphs?
 
It depends on who I breed her with. If I breed her with Mr. Freeze, I should only get Avs... If I breed her with my Fire, I should get only Fires het Anery. Depends on if either of them have any unknown hets.

I know that these are basically "straight" breedings, but those are what I've got available right now. LOL.
 
That was my 2nd guess Fred! It I knew it was either the Scifi/Fantasy novels, or the Comics.
 
She's looking good Fred, really pretty and I'm sure she'll make beautiful babies too! :)

Edited to add; I know I'm only small time but, I breed without brumation and have had successful clutches for the last 4 years. I will say that if you keep her up out of bru' and feed her steadily through the winter, any extra weight over the recommended 300g won't go amiss. Two of my girls this year dropped nearly 200g, laying clutches of 20ish eggs, so it does help to have some added weight, but not porky proportions :)
 
She's beautiful, Fred! So i'm guessing Killer Frost and Mr. Freeze are going to be bred (hopefully) next year? That is going to be neat! :)

I'm hoping something like that. I might try her with a male Fire though... Then I'd get Fires het Anery. I love Fires too!

Pink snake babies or Red snake babies???? LOL.

That would be fabulous, too! :) I do like Fires, too. I lean more toward red and orange snakes, myself.
