King Snake Pics, just for Dean

Making it up as I go
And anyone else who wants to look. ;)

You asked for them, so here are some pictures of Onyx. I think he's in the mood for love, too, since he hasn't eaten in nearly a month. He's still plenty fat, though, so I'm not worried. He measures 38.5" and will be two years old in July.

Sorry it took so long to get them up, but I've had a lot on my mind lately. Between Scarlett's situation, work entering the busy season, and my upcoming black belt test...I've got a lot going on.

Very nice king. One of these days I have to get myself one of those 50/50. Right now I have a striped cal king.

He looks fantastic, Becky! Perfect black/white balance, and I love his little white "cap" dot. Thanks for posting the pics.

And good luck with your black belt test. "Ahhh-- snake style-- very effective." :)

Thank you Dean. I like his spot, too. I almost named him Diamond because of it, but my son wanted to call him Onyx because of the shiny blackness of his head. And though he looks like a 50/50, he was sold to me as a normal--and at a normal's lower price, too. :grin01:

My black belt test will be June 17th. I'll let you know if I survive--uhhh, pass--it.

Thank you Angela. You're right, they do grow on you. I must say, Onyx has the most personality of any of my snakes. He is quite the character.
