king vs corn video

Just goes to show how some people shouldn't be allowed anywhere near animals. The sad person who made this probably thinks it's 'cool', but then some morons think dogfighting, cockfighting etc make good hobbies.
In fact it does look absolutely amazing, and if I saw that behaviour as part of a documentary about kingsnake feeding strategies I'd watch it in fascination.
What makes this wrong for me is the fact that it's set up as entertainment to watch the snakes fight and the corn die. You have to wonder what else some of the people on youtube do for entertainment, can't they afford a tv?

Yes, king vs. corn, but read the description. This was part of a scientific study of how snakes eat prey as long, or longer than, themselves. A serious biomechanical question. The results were published in a reputable international scientific journal after peer review. Hardly a waste...and everybody has to eat.

I read this in the comments of the video. I still think it was a horrible thing to do even if it was an experiment.

I'm with you Joe, horrible, unnecessary and I hope the perpetrators get eaten by lions one day

That's stupid! I mean, come on, we already know what happens if a king eats a corn that's the same size as it...
