Knock-Down stackable vivs?

I guess these would be fine if you were keeping a small collection. They are about the size of a 20 gallon long. You really wont need the light fixtures but it does say you can apply a UTH (Under Tank Heater) on them. I would not suggest housing babies in them as they may be to spacious for them to feel secure and less stressed, instead more better suited for sub-adult and adult Cornsnakes. Hope this helps.

An exotic pet store in Las Vegas updated a lot of their tanks to this. They said that they really like them, but they don't use them for their smaller snakes and lizards because they wedge themselves down into the tracks by the door. You have to be careful that you don't squish them. Also, some of the chips get caught in the tracks.

Otherwise, they thought they were nice and could buy locks for the sliding doors. I think they're nice display tanks.

I have had a couple, and they are nice but a pain at the same time. If you stack them, I found that condensation built up on the lower vivs, way too much humidity. I didn't like bedding getting stuck in the tracks, and its hard to use all the space well as the tray curves upward making it hard to put things in the far corners. Do not keep hatchlings in this as they can get out between the gap in the doors (unless you use the center divider as it is a tighter fit). They look nice visually, but if you stack them, make sure the surface they are on is stable as they look as if they might tip easily.

I didn't end up keeping mine long. As a matter of fact, I have one left I still need to sell. I should get rid of it so I have more closet space.

Good luck in what you decide!

Thanks everyone. I was debating getting some because I do go home to visit my family for a month sometimes and it would be nice to bring full sized vivs with me. But I think I'm just going to go with something more traditional. =)
