Komodo Dragons are venomous apparently...

That is interesting. So the Gila Monster and the Mexican Beaded Lizard are no longer the only two.
 
I am just surprised it took them this long to figure it out - I mean people have been wondering about the Komodo Dragons bite for soooooo long.
 
So now that we have this information we have a few questions we must ask taxonomists and reasearchers.

1. Will Komodos stay in varanus?

2. Will we find all Varanus have this venom

3. What about the bacteria in the Komodos mouth? Is it still there? And does it have a role in the venoms process?

4. What does this mean as far as keeping any Varanus?

5. Is there a possibility that heloderma and Varanus are more closley related than we thought
