Lady Ivana's updated aquarium

When I first brought home Lady Ivana we only had a rock water dish and a single hide in her aquarium. I noticed she spent most of her time burrowed down in her aspen bedding. This morning I spent some time updating her aquarium with some branches and also wrapped some reptile vine around a dowel rod I had.

When I put her back in after holding her she didn't immediately burrow into the bedding like she normally does. I saw her exploring around some. I'm hoping this will make her feel more safe and not feel so exposed.

They like climbing, especially when they're that little. They also like burrowing, so don't think you've failed somehow. :)
 
Any "clutter" helps. It looks beautiful. If you have any, throw in some TP tubes. They love those.
 
That looks fantastic. I love the vines on the dowel. Did you use zip ties to fasten?

I just put a zip tie on both ends of the dowel after wrapping the vine tightly around it.

The tp tube was a big hit with her. She immediately got in it and curled up in it. She's been in it for hours now.
