I LOVE YOUR LEE OKEETEE! AWESOME!!!Got to love Lees Okeetees :devil01:
Is it true that Okeetees are generally more high strung and hand shy than other morphs/lines? I don't know if this is true or not, I just read that somewhere. :shrugs:
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here has bought directly from Lee Abbott? Abbott Okeetees are one of my favorite phases/colors/lines (I don't know how you categorize it). I don’t know if most of the AOs that are sold today are more of a color phase rather than a bloodline from Lee. Maybe someone can explain. I was thinking if Lee has the cleanest & thickest black borders, I would like to buy right from the source. What do you think? BTW…if you own one, can you please show me a picture?
Cheers!![]()
Here is a dated picture of my May '08 Abbott's. He's very friendly, easy to handle, and a voracious eater (except for the past few month when his cage temp dropped to the low '70s. His UTH still is set between 80 and 85 degrees, but with the house temp a little lower during the winter he only ate about once every two weeks. His appetite has returned, however.
Lee picked "Kernel" out for me. He was very easy to deal with.

Goldtop, his dad was "T," and his mother was "D." He hatched the first week of May, 2008.
