so im new to snakes and ive heard a whole bunch of diff stuff everywere..
guy at the petstore told me that all they fed their snakes were live mice.. another guy at another store said they fed frosen mice bcause giving live mice made the snakes more agressive.. is this at all in any way true? i gave my snake its first meal yesterday and it was one frozen pinky..

Feeding frozen thawed mice to your snake is by far the best way to go. Live mice are very able to hurt or even kill your snake. Frozen mice don't have live parasites, don't bite your snake, are easy to store and buy in quantity, don't need to be fed, don't out grow your snake.

oh ok thanks..

also had a question.. how will i know when its time for me to move up in mice size for my snake.. i wanted to find a place were i can get a couple pinkys at once.. is there an online store i can get them at.. at the local pet store they ate 235 for one..

Alan, I gave you that information in your intro post ..it's at the bottom of the list.

look at the munson plan for feeding size references and you can order mice via the mouse factory or rodent pro or anyothers but those 2 are the most reputable around

cheers

Hunter:)
