Live pinkies in/around NH?

Hail_Britannia

Animals > People.
So, Rivet the rosy boa is still being an absolute PITA to feed. He's only eaten twice since we got him in April. If he thinks you have anything to do with feeding him he won't touch the mouse. Last night he struck it, dropped it, and ignored it thereafter. I've gotten to the point where I'm willing to try live pinkies, at least for a little while. The problem is I don't breed mice, so I'm not sure where to get them. Is there anyone here who lives around the New Hampshire area and would be willing to sell me a live pinkie mouse? It'd be a pain to pick up only one or two mice at a time, but I'm willing to do it at this point. If I can't get him going that way I'm willing to give or trade him to someone with more patience than I have. So, if anyone can help me out on the live pinkie mouse front I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

GOod luck I hope you can find the pinkies... If not.. YOu may have to acquire a pair of breeding size mice just to feed her with.. You can also try looking in the phone book and call all the pet stores in your area and see if they have live feeders or if they have a mother mouse with pinkies you can adopt...

I met them at the New England Herp Society show this past weekend. They were very nice. Their mice are vacuum packed very tightly so it is hard to see them individually but I did buy some and will be using them this weekend.

Thanks for the tip, guys. I'm really hoping to only have to do this once or twice. I want to get him on frozen/thawed as soon as possible. Kinda wish I'd gone with a nice corn morph instead...:p

Have you called around to the local pet stores in Dover and Rochester? Maybe they could help you out, too.
