ok i had two snakes liveing together a red tailed boa and a corn, i know i spearted them... i shouldnt have done that. ut i was wondering if the reason was them being together was why they were so pissy every now an then???

:(

Keeping the two together was most definitly stressing them out and yes thats why they were "pissy"

Two snake species from different countries can also kill each other by their own different bacteria etc. I can get the specifics on that or I am sure someone will post them but it can be fatal to house snakes like that. And EXTREMELY stressful.

I hope you have done lots of research on both the boa and the corn. Although I would think you would have seen something mentioning the housing issue if you had.

Might I suggest visiting either http://www.faunaclassifieds.com or http://www.bobclark.com for more information on both your boa and your corn. Both have forums full of people who know what they are doing when it comes to boa's and corns. :)

Well I wanted to add that this site, of course, has the best CORN info...:)

But the others are better for the boa. Lots of boa people at Bob Clarks.

yeah that the thing though i went to pet stores and this guy was the "expert" so i and my husband listen toeverything he said. he said b/c the boa was a baby i could put the together see my corn is twice the size as the boa. and i have posted some other problems under heath and noone has ever told us this stuff before. BUT i'm glad i found out this stuff before it was too late. everything is so pefect now thank you all

Yeah just remember one thing:

Pet stores are wrong 99% of the time. They will tell you that a snake can like with a monkey if it means you'll buy the monkey. :)
