Lizard Cake

When my mom said she wanted to make a Lizard cake for my fiance's birthday, I thought "Hm, that's a neat idea". But I never imagined it would be this cool looking! Complete with a water dish and everything (I mean, everything, even a little icing fly!)
This is what we came home to after work today:
(oh, and I just wanted to point out, my mom is not a baker, she is actually a small animal surgeon!)

Is that cool or what?! :D

Thanks! I'm hoping next year I'll get a corn snake one! Now I just need to decide on which morph to ask for! ;)

We still haven't cut into it! Lol... just seems a shame, with something so cool looking.
We had the same issue with the pirate cake she made for my little brother's b-day, luckily 11yr old boys don't tend to have the same worries as us, and the cake was soon destroyed.
