Your welcome. It took me a while to get a grasp on them but once you do it is relatively easy. Im sure you have been here but I will post a link just in case, its The Corn Calculator, just play with it and it should help you alot. http://www.corncalc.com/index.jsp
Awesome thank you I am trying to sex the babies but am having difficulty I haven't poped babies that small I have year old males I can successfully pop so I know I am not doing it wrong out of twelve I have only 2 males and even still I am not 100% sure if that is entirely correct is there a way or method you could suggest?
hey my bad
for some reason i didnt see your photos of the hatchlings.
@komodo i used corncalc in the past but its a bit tricky.. especially if u dont know the genotype of the parents. my friend is waiting for her first ever clutch and we thought about trying to guess what we'll get but we just know the parents phenotype NOT genotype..
female albino x male caramel it comes up as 100% normal..
as i mentioned before 8 eggs were laid.. out of which 2 went bad and removed to prevent it from spreading on the rest.. we are on day 50 now and waiting anxiously.. they where kept between 79-87 F as they it was an accidental breeding (my gf didnt even realise that her albino was gravid) so we didnt have anything set up for incubating them and also was our first clutch of corns ever..
The clutch I origionally posted was my first clutch I took a 12 by 12 exo-terra tank slapped a heat pad on the bottom and filled it with about two inches of water and stuck the eggs in a tupperware with vermiculite and it did me just fine I hope this helps anyone who might not be prepared and its a cheap way.
we are using a polystyrene box with a tupperware with water and a strong net to cover it, and above the tupperware with vermiculite and the eggs. The Polystyrene box is sealed and inside the females' tank as the Temp is better regulated.
