looking for a rating on this screen

only problem i see is that it has no visible lock or anything holding it there. or am i just not seeing it. i think some species would be able to slide it easily off if thats the case. other than that thats an awesome design for a lot of animals at the same time.

i was looking at that too and i was thinkng maybe i can buy some clips and put them on the front where it slides out

dont know if your handy at all. but theres this link that might of help. http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=72848
you could go with something like that and custom it to be sliding. i wish i did a diy when i helped my buddy make sliding screen tops on 55g tanks. we just made a small frame and stapled it together with the screen smashed inbetween the 2 frames of wood. it was like a 1/4" thick. then we fastened a ledge higher up and a overhanging lip. the screen slid in and there was 2 pieces of 1/4" wood on the front corners that were screwed in so they could rotate. and thats what held the screen from sliding back out with snakes in the tanks.
