Lost snake

Well, It happened, I lost my snake, last night I checked on him, then this morning when I went to look at him, he was gone. I've looked all over the little room his tank is in, and nothing. monday is his feed day, so I'm hoping to be able to find him soon.

Good luck finding him. Check in the general area, especially under the tank. They tend to stay in the immediate area. Look up, they climb.

We found him. Luckily. Weird thing, across the apartment and in a bag no less. Luck we had my B/F's brother over who heard the bag moving or we would never have found him.

Another escape

Amazing. In 24 hours he has managed to escape his Viv twice. This is bothering us. But we now have come to a conclusion. The Exo Terra Glass terrariums are escapable for our little snakes. Mines done it twice now to prove that company wrong. But they state their Doors are inescapable...to be more precise "A specially designed lock will prevent escape ". True....But have they ever thought of the plastic lip above the door that holds that mesh clip on top? Apparently not. This to is a way to escape. My snake might be escaping that way.

Bloody Bothersome Glass Terrariums from Exo Terra.

We have taped it all down and put a small amount of powder to "figure out" how and mainly where he is escaping from. Not to mention it's a fall of roughly 2 1/2 feet to the floor where he lands on Vinyl flooring, which is kinda cold. The odd thing is, we're finding him in the kitchen and beside our TV where there is no heat at all. So it's making us think. Is he getting away to get cooler? Is this a possibility? I've read on here of missing snakes being found in warm places. Not in cold places.

Excuse this late night ranting. It is like 5:28 AM and we just got home a few minutes ago. And found our snake missing. Half asleep while typing most of this. so please excuse anything I might have said weird.......or odd.

BTW.....we did find him
