Lowest temp/humidity?

What is the lowest temp and humidity you've successfully hatched corn snake eggs at? My corn laid eggs on the 9th. I have them in a small container with vermiculite and moss over the top. My incubator has chicken eggs in it, so I put the snake eggs on top of the heat cable in an empty slot in my snake rack. My snakes cages stay at about 82-84 degrees, but the thermometer for the eggs won't go above 75. And the humidity, no matter what I do, won't stay above 90. Advice, help?

Can you post a pic of the egg box (a side image)?
My first thought it that the incubation medium thickness is the reason the temps are lower, dispite sitting on top of the heat cable.
Are the eggs drying out?

Honestly, I never monitor actual percentage of the humidity. I try to keep my Cornsnake eggs about 82 degrees. I don't heat them at 85, because it's too close to the danger zone, if they happen to get warmer.

I actually just took out some of the vermiculite today because I thought the same thing. I have the probe measuring from on top of the eggs. I put a towel over the top of the container and it's now at 79 degrees. The container itself is not very tall.
