Here's Mal's progression thread. If you haven't seen his future mate, check her out here... INARA.

Mal is the opposite of Inara (just like the TV show and movie!). He was a wiggly worm who wouldn't sit still for anything. LOL.

Here he is! 10/06/2009

Since he was such a squirmy guy, I didn't get as many pics of him. BUT, I hope you enjoyed these!

Thanks for looking!!!

He's got great borders, Fred! I loved the pumpkin pictures. :) It was very adorable. I might have to try that. LOL

Gorgeous, and so is Inara! Of course, love the names--you know I'm a scifi geek!

Wow, he looks great. Neither me or my brother own an Okeetee, with the exception of his reverse-Okeetee, but I've always loved them. I think it's the contrast that does it and he particularly has great contrast. I love the dark borders on him too. BTW, I really like the picture of your son reaching up for him. It looks like one of those photo's that would be in Reptiles Magazine for a Corn Snake feature...Great photo's Fred!!!

LOL. Thanks, Lynnea. I'm glad that Catherine decided to name them after such a great show... When I picked them up, I had initially forgotten where the names came from. As soon as the question left my lips, I remembered. :)

Thanks so much, Ricky! I haven't gotten around to sending anything to Reptiles, yet... but you and Michael keep reminding me... so I'll get it done eventually! :)

I really love his belly. Awesome pictures!
Thanks, Mariah!!!

As always Fred, I love him! So pretty!
Thank you, Katie!

He's gorgeous too! You're really getting the hang of this photo taking lark aren't you?!? I particularly like pics #4 and #5, really nice Fred! :)

Thanks, Sue!!

As for "getting the hang" of things... When you shoot 90 pictures per snake... ONE or TWO just MIGHT be pretty good. LOL.

As they say, "practice makes perfect", so those 90+ pics are great practice for those ONE or TWO good shots! ;)

I took over 300 the other day and got 2 I think, that I'm really pleased with, there are quite a few others that are "ok", but only the 2 really nice ones, that I can remember that is.....lol

He looks great Fred. Glad they are settling in so quickly! I never could figure out which one I like more, but I guess with these beautiful babies its not hard to guess why! They both favorites in my book. Just remember, I get babies! AND I get visitation rights!

He sounds adventurous just like his namesake. :D

Oh you have no idea! When I got them shipped, Lee had taped around the deli cup to prevent any gaps opening during the shipment and to keep them put. That did NOT even phase him. He had wiggled his head against the lid enough to break some of the tape, and had his little head poking out... and we're talking about him as a hatchling here! I knew his name the second I laid eyes on him, and it has still to this day fit him perfectly! (Not to mention he's an ornery stubborn little cuss at times too!)

ABSOLUTELY!!! You are #1 on the list... EVERY list as far as I'm concerned! LOL.

:) Glad that I'm not the only one who has had an "adventurous" experience with him.

Thanks for stopping in, Catherine!!!
