Marine or Epoxy paint?

Allalaskan

The Crazy Alaskan
I was just wondering if any one knows if it is safe to use Epoxy paints or Marine paint for sealing the inside of a viv? This is for a CWD (Chinese Water Dragon) not a corn snake but figured it still a DIY viv im building haha. Any way I would like to be able to paint the inside with a marine or epoxy paint to water seal the wood and choose the color I want.

Sooooo, any one in here know if its safe after the paint cures or if any one has used either.

I would think marine paint would have chemicals in it to reduce algae growth & would not be a good idea around herps.
