May Be Moving Across Country?

I may be moving from PA to CA next year at some point, and I'm going to be taking the bare minimum with me. The only given is I will be taking my snake baby Levi with me. Except I don't know where to begin! I started doing some light research on taking reptiles on airlines and such, but there's soooo much information. Has anyone had to transport their pet snake to a new living space? What's the safest way? If I have the option of taking him on a flight, what containers am I supposed to use? (I saw something about IATA Live Animal Regulations containers, but I don't even know what this is either.) Any and all advice is encouraged and appreciated because I'm not leaving my Levi behind!

I haven't had to do it, but I think it would be best if you just shipped him overnight the day you left and then he would be there the next day for you to pick up.

I'll have to look into how to ship a live animal, as that's something else I've never had to do.

Try shipyourreptiles.com or reptiles express. I don't think you can fly a snake cargo and I know you can't fly them in your carry on. The two above reptile shippers websites I think go through the shipping process details on their sites.

Youre Welcome :). Ive done a lot of traveling with my snakes (or rather, they have traveled a lot with me lol), but its all been by car. Sometimes 3 days or more in the car! They are resilient little things thats for sure!
