I understand and you can show your snakes all you want on your own thread(s). I started this thread 2 years ago to chronicle my snake's growth and pictures of him. Your pictures look like crap most of the time and I'd prefer to not have them on my page. Start your own page.

I'm 'knot' sure Loopy can do that! Seems like Rufus has a pretty good handle on it though. Good pics.

Blue, Bleu, Blew, Bloo, Blioux

About a week ago Rufus refused a meal. Usually when he does this I know a shed is coming. Well today I got home from work and went to check on him and he's sportin' his Blue Eyes and his Odd Colors.

A lot of folks think it's bad to handle a snake when about to shed, and claim some snakes get irritated or irate about it. Rufus obviously doesn't mind a bit. I did freshen up his water and returned him to his Hide rather quickly though instead of playing with him an extended period as I usually do.

Silly boy! So several days ago Rufus refused a meal and then went "blue." He shed late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning. (I found the shed Wednesday).

I figured I'd see if he was ready to eat this morning (Saturday) as it's been about 3 weeks with no food.

You can see the result in the pictures. He started out in the plastic container I use as his feeding bin. He struck the mouse with such voracity that he went airborne and ended up on the table.

I guess he wanted his order "To Go" this time.

He's also wearing his new suit.

If I had known he was going to do a gymnastic stunt going for the mouse I would have set up the video camera. Unfortunately, every time I've tried to get Video Feeding in the past, they end up quite uneventful and boring.

Now every time I see a Hindu or Indian with his Turban on, I'm gonna be wondering if there is a mouse under there.
