Methods of measuring snakes...

The bath tub is still a little tricky with my guy. He figured out after just a few minutes how to get out, so it was a matter of playing with him ("pulling" him back down) until he needed to take a breather, then snap, snap.... pull down, pull down, pull down, breather, snap, snap, pull, pull, pull, breather, snap, snap... start again :)

But the lightening in there is pretty strong, so it works out well, when the daughter isn't around to help me :)

The Serpwidgets snake measurer application is definitively great even though I am still struggling to take the photos from right above.
I still haven't found an easy to use s/w for resizing the pics... any suggestions of s/w?

Unfortunately, I re-sized mine in Photoshop. If you want to send it to me at this name at aol.com, I'd be happy to resize one or two for you.

Awww, that is so sweet of you, thank you!!!
I have photoshop but still need to install it and do something I really hate doing: "reading the destruction manual" :grin01:

LOL Photoshop really isn't that hard to use, even without reading the manual. Well, at least the basics aren't. I know I'm not using it to it's full advantage, but I figured out enough to get by :)

I concur, easy peasy lemon sqweezy ;)

I use the software that came with the pc, Microsoft Digital Image Starter edition and resized the pic to 800x600 (half of the original) and the measuring application worked fine.

Great Way to Resize

Do a google search for microsoft power toys.

Navigate through the microsoft website for a windows add-in that resizes photos through the right click.

It's dead easy. No other software needed.

Jenkva,

This is an older thread that I resurfaced, because I finally got a picture to do it with and thought other newbies might be interested in it... so I don't think Velvet cares :)
