Miami feeding questions

kellum

untitled
Iam considering all the varieties of corns available

I have a few questions about young corns. Do they regress in thier feeding patterns when adapting to a new environment? i

If I decide to get a young miami should I nab an anole or two from the yard and freeze them in prep?

Also will freezing kill of any parasites the lizards may have?

Some corns do prefer lizards at first. I would try feeding pinkies first, and if that doesn't work, you could try scenting the mice with the lizard. Freezing the lizards should kill most parasites, but not necessarily all. I'd try scenting and only feed the lizards to the snake as a last ditch. Hopefully you won't have any problems at all and your new purchase will be feeding fine on mice.
