Carol

you still have my address right? just go ahead and send them cod - I LOVE the second on, it has the features we spoke about on the phone, like very little color in between the sadlles -

all are exceptional miamis

 Those be some awesome looking corns

Just a question, how come some miamis have dull grey not even silver looking backgrounds, and some have awesome white/silver backgrounds like yours? What genetic make-up causes that super white/silver + bright red saddle combo?

I wish I knew! :D
Even if both parents have that knockout silver, you can still end up with some of those tan babies. The ones I posted are some of the best out of about 40 Miami line babies I produced. I still got some brown saddled/tan background babies from the same clutches The very top Miami was a result of breeding a Hypo Miami male AND a Milksnake Phase Motley male to a Crimson female. Not very many of the Milksnake Phase Motleys sperm got though, I only got two non-Crimsons.(Simon has the other one) This year I am going to introduce only the Milk Mot to try and recreate some more.
The other babies do have some Upper Keys in them, which made the whole clutch very different. I almost sold the ones above because they were SO BROWN when they were little. A cold snap came and I decided to keep them over the winter, and boy did they change! Not all of them though, here is a pic of a full sister to the ones on the bottom. Her saddles are more orange and her background is even more gold than the pic shows(flash washed it out a bit) I am keeping her for her pattern. :)
And Thank You for everyone's compliments!
