ok my bro is moveing out for college and he might give me his 55 gal tank that he used for fish it's really nice but i was woundering if it'll be ok cause of it used to have salt water and fish and corl and stuff so is it safe for my snake? also a spy i have (bro) said santa might get me a new corn would it be ok if i put my old snake the is bout 2 feet long in the 55gal and put my new (if to smaal to keep in same tank) in sheba's old 29gal tank?
 
I think you should be able to put your larger snake in the fish tank as long as you provide plenty of hides- it does sound very large. The tank should be fine after a disinfecting with a weak bleach solution.
 
By weak, Neil means about 10 parts water to one part bleach... Am I right Neil?
