Saw the show last night at the House of Blues.
You will enjoy it my man. Thinking about trying for tickets at Ruth Eckert (spelling I know).

If it's not cancelled! The show is Thursday, and Ernesto could ruin the whole thing.
How did they handle Dio's Dr.X part?

The whole thing is a...

giant stage play. If you like Mrs. Moore, and I'm pretty sure ya do, you'll love this. She is in on most of Mindcrime and dresses like a hooker for MII. Geoff plays Dr. X. As I remember, Geoff is off stage during that song and a video is played on the screens. Dio's voice is dubbed in. I must admit it was great to see the two albums back to back, but there are many other songs I would have wanted to hear. For the curtain call, Walk in the Shadows and Jet City Woman.
If ya want a shirt, not under $35.

Luck to us all with this storm. In 04 I was on duty 24/7 four times. I went out today and bought lots of items to grill. I understand here in Lakeland you lose power easily.

Yeah, I bought a couple shirts for the show on Ebay for $10 a piece!
When I saw them in 04 they had live actors on stage for Mindcrime. It was a 2 set show, the first set being a "best of" opening with The Whisper from Rage!!!!!!!!!!

What was in 04?

I saw them in 04 with Fates Warning and Dream Theatre and they only did a few Mindcrime songs.
And man I'll tell ya. Everytime I go to a show anymore I look around and realize; I'm getting old.
Loved this tour as well

October 23, 2004 at Ruth Eckerd Hall. No opening act. Like I said the first set was a best of, and following a brief intermission was Operation Mindcrime in it's entirety with live actors portraying Nikki and Sister Mary. I got to tell you, seeing Geoff Tate sing Eyes of a Stranger in a straight jacket is permanently embedded in my brain!

You're gonna see it...

my friend. It sounds like maybe that show was a trial run for this one. I was really impressed with the production on what is a small budget to work with. And the boys are just plain good. :)

they will be at the majestic theater in san antonio on sept. 25 and my plan is to be there..........but who knows what can happen between now and then. i did hear that this one is a pretty awesome stage show.

They're coming here (Boise, ID) sometime in October. I won't be going though. The ticket would be wasted on me. The only song of their's that I know has been overplayed to death "Silent Lucidity". So enjoy guys! :crazy02:

I wanna go. I LOVE Queensryche.

..I wish I had friends that had the same taste in music as I do. Even if they came here, I wouldn't pay to go because concerts just aren't as fun without friends that're into it. [I convinced a friend to see Metallica with me.. she loved Godsmack, but when Metallica came on stage, she just sat right down and got bored. That definitely ruins it.]

It is what it is.

I enjoyed it .

I can't believe there is so many Queensryche fans here. Awesome. The closest they get to me is Myrtle Beach, SC...this Sunday, crap. Been a big fan since "Queen of the Ryche".

she's calling for you!

Jeff Tate has a voice from the Gods! I feel really old, it has been since the mid nineties since I have seen them. I am sure you all who see them this tour will not be disappointed.

:-offtopic Alyndria- Don't let your buddies drag u down. Concerts are best attended on your own in a lot of cases. You don't have to worry about anybody's good time but your own and you can move around more freely and meet new people. My best shows ever where when I would get "miracled" outside a Greatfull Dead show and my friends didn't. Although I was bummed they didn't get in, I always had a great time meeting new "friends" on the inside. :grin01: Those were other days :crazy02:

Rorryy-- I try not to go anywhere alone. My parents raised me to be aware that I'm a girl, and that there are a lot of bad guys out there. I'm too scared to be alone at night.. not so much in a crowd, but traveling home alone, subways and buses and walking? All that fear wouldn't be worth the fun of the show.

Let's get it straight!

Because I'm a perfectionist :grin01:
#1: It's "Queen of the Reich"

#2: It's Geoff Tate!

:wavey:
