so i decided to go feed my snakes today and i realized that my snake is gone. he finished shedding and he was nowhere to be found. so i thought that he was hiding the aspen. so i left him alone for about 2 days. and now i went to go feed him, hes not there, or anywhere.
its late at night, so i dont want to make so much noise finding him.
is there specific spots that snakes would hide? hes in my bedroom btw.
any good ideas to lure him out?

ah im so worried right now. i hope hes safe.

Check all the warm and dark spots in your room...everywhere! In shoes...in closets..under the bed, behind book shelves..behind books...every dark spot or small area a snake could hide in..also all the warm spots..behind tv or entertainment systems..behind heaters..under the fridge..another trick to try is since its feeding day..take a mouse (whatever size he's currently eatting) and put it in the center of a plastic bag..this way when the snake goes for the food you will hear the bag rattle..or you could try the reverse soda bottle trap but I'm not sure how this exactly is set up..also put some baking soda or flour near any cracks or along the wall..this way if he passes through he'll make a trail you can follow..search the whole house when you can..he could pop up anywhere..but for now..just try a thorough search of your room and the vivarium..good luck and hope you find him..

Oh, man we have all been there or we all will be in your shoes at some point.

The first place my guy goes is the closet. Don't know why but it is.

Don't give up he will show soon enough.

I know it is so frustrating to lose them. We made a new rack system and unfortantly we had some flaws. We are still missing 2, it was 3 the cat found one, the snake is ok, the cat was afraid of it. We have tried several tricks and still haven't found them.

Just incase theres a bit of confusion about the bottle trap...
