how do you get rid of mites, how do you know if they have mites, and how can you prevent snakes from getting them. thx in advance


p.s. for those who remeber me posting on how long can a corn last w/o heat, well she made it just fine. thx.
 
Mites look like small black beetles. Young mites and eggs are barely visible as small white specks. You can find these drowned in the water bowl, and mostly concentrated around the snakes eyes.

Difficult to prevent them. Just disinfect everything before putting in the snakes viv. Wash your hands always before touching the snake.

Much more then that i don't know. I got some anti-mite spray from t-rex. Just in case. I'm sure other members can give a more thourough awnser to this.
