As some of you may know, one of my hobbies is wood-burning. I thought I would post a pic of one I have just done, which also happens to be of the lizards I work most with. They are whiptail lizards, native to SW USA, and I currently work with 7 different species.

No, I have not yet done any snake. I do keep wanting to, but I haven't yet found just the right picture to burn. (I always work from a photo otherwise my perspective goes awry.) I think I'll just do the head detail rather than the whole snake - all those scales would take forever! Maybe you should all submit your best head shot, and I'll burn the best one???

your artword is extremely good skye, very impressive, have not come across any others.
erm..i have a couple of head shots but not to sure if they will be any good, as i have quite a rubbish camera, will have to dig them out. would you like me to post them here?

yeah, thats my ultimate darling,
my other 4 are my little darlings but missy was always the one i worried about the most, she had a pretty tough life.
