Hello all,

As you may have guessed i'm Sammi and i'm relatively new to the world of corns :) Just wanted to indroduce myself and my lovely little man Isaac.

He's about 13 months old and the guy i got him off had him down as a snow het stripe however i'm not sure about the stripe part?! What do you guys think?

Hey there Sammi. Welcome to the forum!

Pretty little snow you've got there! As for the het. stripe, it's impossible to tell. "Het" stands for "heterozygous", meaning that your guy has one copy of a gene mutation, as opposed the two he would need for it to show. For example, if your guy were only het for anery (one of the mutations that results in a snow), you would have a visual amel (red albino).

Very good looking snake. As explained it is not impossible to know for sure if he is her stripe unless he is bred with a stripe or another her stripe snake. Really hets listed on a snake don't mean anything unless you have plans to breed.
