one of the pairs im putting together will be a motley male and a het stripe female. The program im using said i'll get 50% motley stripes and 50% het motley

Has anyone got any pics of normal motley stripes so i can se the outcome of a motley stripe :)

A "Motley Stripe" can look like ANY of the Motley patterns - whether it be the dot-dash pattern, the ribbon pattern ... it's because, as far as I understand it from people who've done the breeding trials, in an animal who carries one copy of motley and one copy of stripe, the motley gene is dominant and makes the animal a visual motley.

"Motley Stripe" isn't a morph appearance in and of itself as far as I understand it.

Here's a link to some pictures of my anery mot. I don't know if stripe is involved, it's quite hard to tell. Scroll down for the best pictures. :)

ok thanks, i noticed that it has a broken stripe. Thats what i thought a motley/stripe would look like. Someone else told me that a stripe and motley would give cubed motley

So there is no hard fast rule with it then?

I don't think so. I'm not exactly sure about the genetics of a cube, but now i'm going to try and find out. As for motley/stripe patterns, there is a lot of variation.
