Fed my new snake last week with a fluff that came with him although we didn't get much info about the corn, age etc.

He fed fine so I picked up some more fluffs today but they don't look as big as he had last week at a guess I'd say there just bigger than the size of his head ( I'll check when I feed him later) .

He's 3 feet long and quite active I read on here about checking his stomach for a bulge I couldn't see on after 36 to 48 hours.

Will it do any harm feeding him two or will he just leave it if it's not wanted?
 
If they are smaller than the one that came with I mean :) feeding him 2 should be fine

Why don't you go back and get more informations ?
Try feeding one mouse/ fluffs?? that is 1 1/2 times its girth say..?? every 10 days.
 
Go to the following link, and print the chart. It tells what to feed for different sizes of animals. Tons of people here use it. You will need a grams scale to properly weigh your animal.

Cheers he's fed and happy Ive also weighed the food and the snake and cross referenced the chart.

I bought fuzzies they weighed 5g and 6g so according to food chart are small fuzzies. Bob the Snake weighs 115g so with the chart he should be eating 13 to 20g.

Anyway fed him both 11g and he's eaten them both quickly put him back in the vivarium where he spent the next 5 mins climbing around looking for food or a way out to find more i guess, he's in his hide now :)

Is there a rough way of guessing a Corns age through length and weight I'm guessing now lol
 
It really depends on the snake. Mines is 7 years old and is about 4ft :) he's healthy and happy. Some peoples can be bigger it all really depends :)

Well a week on and another question so I thought I'd attach to this post,

Fed him tonight using the weight chart and usually after a feed he's straight back into his hide however tonight he's spent a good 20 mins searching all over his cage I'm guessing for more food ( quite comical to watch).

So is he telling me I should of fed him more or will some corns eat as much as they can??
 
Yeh only just visible but I fed two smaller ones, first time I've seen him so active after a feed. Also he's been with us for 3 feeds now so maybe he's more settled too
 
They always look for more after they settle :) I sometimes wait like 2/3 days and give him another then wait another 9/10 days :)
